Dear OGIers,
I have finally completed the massive import project for Ancestry's Worcestershire and Yorkshire collections released in June and July. The Worcestershire collection of Bishop's Transcripts was a mess as many place names were misspelled. Also, that collection includes parts of Gloucestershire, Staffordshire and a lot of Warwickshire. The Online Genealogical Index now contains 444,333 data sets.

The breakdown of today's upload is as follows.
- OPC Dorset - 4 new data sets
- TINSTAAFL Marriage Project - 8 new parishes
- TINSTAAFL Norfolk Baptisms - 1 new parish
- Cornwall OPC Database - 58 new data sets
- Ancestry's Worcestershire Church of England Bishop's Transcripts - 1,439 data sets
- Ancestry's York Church of England Parish Registers - 746 data sets
It is good to see new collections coming to light. I am a bit disappointed that the for profit companies release such a mess of data, often with no indices but I will continue to put the hours in to make sense of them for the benefit of all OGIers!
Have a wonderful summer and see you again soon here on the OGI Blog.
Kind regards,
Tim Manners
