Big update for Norfolk

Dear OGIers,

Findmypast released a large update for Norfolk Parish Registers this week so I have uploaded these collections today.

The new total is 447,620 data sets.

• Cornwall OPC - 61 data sets
• Durhamrecordsonline - 12 new data sets
• Findmypast Norfolk Baptisms - 1105 data sets
• Findmypast Norfolk Burials - 1075 data sets
• Findmypast Norfolk Marriages - 1049 data sets
• Freereg - 36 new parishes
• Gravestonephotos.com - 7 new cemeteries
• Lan OPC - 3 new data sets
• Lancashire BMD - 4 Birth data sets
• TINSTAAFL Marriages - 15 data sets
• TINSTAAFL Norfolk Baptisms - 2 data sets

I will certainly be investigating the expanded Findmypast Norfolk collections.

Lots of new resources in the September Update

Dear OGIers,

I am happy to share details of the September update.  Lots of variety and unique content will help you in your research.

The addition of 878 data sets brings the latest total on the Online Genealogical Index to 446,376.  I have now completed the import of parish register transcript scans on hathitrust.org.  This is an excellent resource with fast loading images of books.
